Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) — a great blue heron stalking the marsh edge. A faithful reproduction of a hand-colored 1830s ornithological plate (No. 211, “Great Blue Heron”), printed edge to edge with its original aged-paper tone and engraved caption.
- Soft polyester-cotton pillow cover with invisible zipper (insert not included)
- 18" x 18" (45 x 45 cm), edges overlocked
- Machine washable, air dry
- Artwork: after J.J. Audubon, engraved by Robert Havell Jr., The Birds of America (1827–1838) — public domain, reproduced from a museum-grade scan. Cropped and color-checked by us; nothing redrawn.
